Jan Vedral

Chief Investment Officer


After graduating from the Faculty of Business of the University of Economics in Prague, he worked for Investiční Banka. In 1992, he joined Agrobanka Praha (currently GE Money Bank) and as a main broker he participated in the first transactions in the creation of the Czech primary and secondary capital market. At the end of 1994 he initiated the founding of Conseq Finance, which he managed until 2003. Throughout this time, he was responsible for the operations division, share trading group and the investment management group. He continues to work as the main investment manager, leading the investment team and setting the main investment strategies. Along with Hana Blovská, he takes decisions on corporate business policy and operative management.

She received her degree in mathematical analysis at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague. Starting in 1993, she spent the first four years of her career at Československá obchodní banka, initially in the custody department, later as deputy director of the securities trading department. In both cases, she was primarily responsible for preparing products and building customer relations with international financial institutions. In the custody department, she contributed, among other things, to the development of processes allowing the first foreign investors to enter the newly formed Czech capital market. In securities trading, she made foreign capital markets accessible to the first Czech investors. She subsequently put her experience to use at Expandia Finance, where she was sales and trading division director. In 1999 she joined Conseq Finance, where she managed the investment management group. Following the formation of Conseq Investment Management, she became the subsidiary’s director. She is responsible for the structuring, marketing and sale of products. She also focuses on reaching out to customers and developing customer and distribution representative relations.

He graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics in Prague with a secondary specialization in monetary economics and banking. As he entered his final year of studies, he joined Conseq Investment Management in the position of portfolio administrator. He was responsible for the administration of Conseq Invest funds and related communications with Irish service providers (depositary, auditing, etc.), as well as portfolio pricing for individual clients, the performance analysis of these portfolios and reporting preparation. After two years at the company, he was appointed sales manager, responsible primarily for training investment advisors and servicing business partners and clients. At the beginning of 2006, he was appointed director for the sale of investment products through external distribution networks; he was elected as a member of the Board of Directors in the autumn of the same year.

Tomáš Vystrčil

Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer


After graduating from the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Tomáš Vystrčil continued his studies at the Prague University of Economics and Business. In 1994, while still a student here, he took up a position as a programmer at the newly established pension fund Českomoravský penzijní fond (now the pension company ČSOB Penzijní společnost). In 1995, he was appointed the CFO and, shortly afterwards, a member of the board of directors, and in 2001-2003 he held the position of CEO of Českomoravský penzijní fond. In 2003, he decided to change his line of work, switching from pension funds to life insurance. He was life insurance director at AXA pojišťovna before becoming director of operations at AEGON Pojišťovna. Since 2011, he has worked for Conseq Investment Management. Here, he is responsible for the operations division, he is a member of the Board of Directors, and he is involved in the Conseq financial group’s expansion into supplementary pension savings.
 

Tomáš Vystrčil

Ondřej Matuška

Member of the Board and Senior Portfolio Manager


He graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the University of Economics in Prague. Whilst studying there, he worked at Hospodářské noviny as an expert editor for foreign capital markets. After finishing his studies, he worked for a short time as an analyst at the commercial banking department of Erste Bank Sparkassen CR, later Česká spořitelna. He joined Conseq Finance in 2000. He was a junior portfolio manager responsible for the cash flow management of client portfolios and the execution of investment decisions. Since 2003, he has been a portfolio manager at Conseq Investment Management, where he is primarily responsible for the bond components of client portfolios and for the Bond, Conservative Bond and New Europe Bonds Conseq Invest funds. Working alongside Jan Vedral, he contributes to the development of investment strategies. He was elected a member of the Board of Directors in August 2008.

Ondřej Matuška

Jan Martinec

Member of the Board of Directors and Back Office Director


Jan Martinec graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at the Prague University of Economics and Business. His studies included a semester-long study stay at the Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. While still a student, he joined Conseq Investment Management as a portfolio administrator and was placed in charge of this department in 2012. He was appointed to the position of Board member in charge of Back Office management in 2020. Within the Conseq Group, he is responsible for the administration of investment and pension funds and for the administration of retail and institutional client transactions.
